About Our Clinic

The clinic is situated in a picturesque, landmark Civil War home. The welcoming atmosphere is comfortable and home-like.

Currently owned by Dr. John Wenger, Anderson Psychiatric Clinic was founded thirty-five years ago by Dr. William Abell.

The clinic consists of experienced professionals with a wide range of specializations offering services for individuals, couples, families, organizations, and industries. We welcome clients from pre-school-age children through Senior Citizens.

John Wenger, Ph.D., HSPP

Works with children, teens, and adults individually, as well as, with couples and families. Dr. Wenger provides psychological assessments and is a consultant to schools, community agencies, and churches.

William A. Abell, M.D.

General medical psychiatry. Dr. Abell has practiced locally for 35 years.

William E. Calvert, Ph.D., HSPP

Although a widely known expert in Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, especially relating to war Veterans, Dr. Calvert also provides general psychotheraphy for adults.

Thomas E. Murray, Ed.D., HSPP

Works individually with adults and children, in addition to, couples and families. Dr. Murray evaluates candidates for the police and fire departments and does court ordered custody evaluations. He also provides marital and divorce counseling.

Mary Jo Roseberry, Ph.D., HSPP

Working with both adults and children, Mary Jo offers individual, family and couples therapy.

Deborah L. Daugherty, MSW, LCSW

Focusing on depression, anxiety disorder, PTSD, and abuse issues, Deborah treats adults, teens, and couples.

Gary G. Garofolo, MSW, LCSW

Offering individual, couple and family therapy, Gary works with children, adolescents, and adults with a wide range of mental health issues.

Robert A. Hack, MSW, LCSW

Bob works with children, 10 years and older, adolescents and adults with a wide range of mental health concerns.

Barbara McConnell, MSW, LCSW

Experienced in brief, solution focused treatment for individuals and families, including EMDR, Barbara specializes in treatment of trauma, dissociative disorders, borderline personality disorder and bulimia.

Jeanie Manis, MSW, LCSW

Certified in Reality Therapy along with a focus on personal strengths and positive approaches, Jeanie treats those seeking change, or to balance love, power, freedom and fun in their lives.

Thomas P. Moorman, MSW, LCSW

Working with individuals 18 years old and older, Tom specializes in depression, anxiety, and a veriety of other mental health concerns.

Rachel J. Ramsey, MSW, LCSW

Her nursing background greatly helps Rachel work with clients with chronic or terminal illnesses. She offers individual, family, marital, child, adolescent, and geriatric counseling.

Jan Moorman, MA, LMFT

Addressing a wide variety of child, family, marital, and parental concerns, Jan also specializes in the assessment/treatment of sexual abuse and ATtention Deficit Disorder.

Linda C. Teeple, MS, LMHC, LMFT

Providing individual, couple and family therapy, Linda is a marriage and family therapist. She treats adults, adolescents and children, seven years of age and older, and has a special focus on women's issues, including abuse recovery.

Scott E. Erny, MS, LMHC

Scott works with adults, adolescents and couples with a veriety of mental health concerns. He specializes in Anxiety Disorder and Attention Deficit Disorder.
